Your summer concerts have become one of our family traditions. With 4 boys ages 5 – 12 we look for good ways to expose them to good music. Keeping up the variety will help keep their interest. Keep up the good work – it is appreciated! Oh also, The “Albemarle” presentation was beautiful – both music and pictures! ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫
We are so blessed with having such a professional group of musicians in our city. You only get better and we have been attending concerts for 30+ years. Please know that you really are appreciated and an important event in our lives. ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫

We have been attending the Municipal Band concerts for most of our 15 year residence in Palmyra. Last night's performance was the best ever! Congratulations to you on the selections and to the band on their performance. It was spectacular. We look forward to the next and are sorry that it's the last in the regular summer series. Just wanted to let you know how very much we enjoyed the concert on Tuesday and especially the parts in Man of LaMancha and others when the French horns were showcased. The tones were awesome and resonant. We loved it! Thanks to all of the band members for giving so much personal time and talent for the benefit of so many. We really appreciate the beautiful evening! April 16, 2009 Steve, We are so grateful that you and the band were able to be with us yesterday for the grand opening [of the new Visitors Center at Monticello]. Please know that the songs that you were able to play were absolutely superb. It was really wonderful to be stationed in front of you and to hear it all without being across the west lawn! The National Anthem and America the Beautiful were incredible touches for the program. Really, I am amazed at how truly talented you all are. Sometimes we take it for granted that you are with us on July 4th but after today, I hope we can somehow get you up here more often. You and the band are very much appreciated, Elizabeth Carey |
